18 months ago I decided to leave Chengdu (China) and join one of my best friends on a journey that led us to start a web development company called North-Route, now re-named to Nomad Cartel.

Although our mission and vision extends much further, at this moment we focus on creating functional and fast websites for companies looking to scale their business with a solid online presence.
The things I enjoy most when working at Nomad Cartel are the ambitious and resourceful clients we work with, the speed at which they allow us to grow North-Route, and how much we are learning about the amazing WordPress ecosystem, SEO, and internet technologies in general. Some of you who know me well know that I have a long term interest in the creation of the universe and the future of humanity in it, and so after learning more about AI and the data world we are creating, I wasn’t so surprised to learn about the possibility we might all live in a hologram.
Back to where I was. Working for Nomad Cartel is great. I found out that the online community is very open, collaborative, and growing fast with new people joining in every day, hungry to learn and build online projects. The internet is expanding exponentially, which is by itself vastly interesting. Are we really living in a data There are obviously large issues with the data hungry state of many large tech corporations, and that is what makes open source projects such as WordPress, or EOS so great! Although I recently also discovered that besides making incredible money off our personal data, Google, Facebook and Microsoft are actually the largest contributors of open source projects.
I invite you all to have a look at our projects so far and I can already let you know that some really great projects are in the making as we speak.
