There is a sort of reversed logic in the world that I’d like to point out via several statements in this blog.
Rich corporations and rich individuals don’t pay paxes while we need this money to solve global problems.
Solving the problem of global poverty and climate change we need thousands of billions of tax dollars. Most money is circulating between people in the highest echelons of (private) society. Most of these people do everything in their ability to evade taxes.
The highest educated people in the world mostly work for profit focused, polluting and mindless corporations.
If we ever want to change the course of our destiny for the better, this needs to change. Most highly educated people keep being drawn to the corporations creating the very system that we in fact obviously need to dismantle. Our future is utterly hopeless and our problems unsolvable if we don’t start addressing this basic fact.
A striking example of something I found out while doing a 1 minute research: there are currently 0 job openings at the World Food Program while Goldman Sachs has 936 job openings on indeed.com.
Statement 2: Cultures that place ‘respect’ central in their societies are ruled by disrespectful corrupted dictators
There’s so many countries in the world where the general philosophy or religion is fundamentally based on respect and caring for one another, while at the same time the government is highly corrupted. This is quite unbelievable.
Statement 3: People in countries with no immediate climate change problems organize the biggest and most frequent climate change protests while forests are burning in Indonesia and Brasil.
The number of climate protests in the ‘Western world’ is much higher compared to those in the countries where climate change is most effecting daily and future life.
The more content we consume from so called Influencers, the less decisions we’ll make are authentically ours.
What’s going on with online content these days? It’s so incredibly overwhelming. The amount of content, but also the quality of content. It’s both at such a high level, but is it then still useful? What to do with all this information that is extremely personal and biased.
