My Today’s Stumble Upon Story

Today I stumbled upon this video

Now I consider this a an amazing piece of work and I feel lucky tonight to be able to have seen it in my life.

Over which path did I stumble??

  1. I just sat on my bed
  2. I saw a red button appear on my Instagram
  3. I checked the update
  4. It was Sonja, my brother’s fiancé, she posted a photo of herself with Milek (their dog) sitting on her lap
  5. I only follow 3 people on my Instagram. 1 of them is Hans Teeuwen, so I also saw his latest posts straight away:
  6. HANS TEEUWEN IS GONNA DO A NEW SHOW –> this was the next epic moment in my life
  7. I tried to buy a ticket on HansTeeuwen.nl (which I instantly found a very cool website)
  8. All shows during the entire year were sold out but tomorrow morning they will sell 1 more show as an extra. So I’ll try to buy 2 tickets tomorrow.
  9. I checked the website of Hans Teeuwen a bit more – really cool work – I wondered who made it?
  10. There was a link in the bottom footer to Je m’apelle, an unconventional design/idea company with a very interesting story
  11. One of the team members was a Motion Designer referred to as Moa.
  12. I clicked and the video above showed up

I love it how destiny is playing around with us all the time.

I made these photos while I was working on a project in Chongqing during 2013, and 2014. Chongqing for me is the… uhm, I literally lack words to describe this place. It’s the most insane city I’ve ever been. It’s sheer size and pace of development during the years I visited was mind altering.

Over the course of 4 years I designed hundreds of party flyers for our club TAG, our bars Soul Kitchen, Bar12, and Berlin House, as well as our event labels Dusk Till Dawn, Walk On Air, Cooking Some Trouble, and others.
